The Association GENTILITAS was established with the intention of raising awareness of the authentical autochthonous Italian spirituality that too often was, also recently, badly described in such a a way that did not reflect a reality ever existed, either on the books at school, or in films and interpretations og the archaeological legacy of centuries past.

The Association has been registered since the end of 2006.

To cope with the ignorance veiling Gentilitas Italica, the Association promotes knowledge to the public and the modus operandi for those who were interested in the practice of autochthonous Italian spirituality. The Association is composed of both students and sympathizers of the Gentile cult.

The association offers, for those interested, the opportunity to enjoy in our times the private Gentile worship, to recognize in Italian autochthonous spirituality and practice philosophy belonging to the following schools: traditional Pithagorism, Platonism, Stoicism. The association is not currently formed in Gentes, and then joining it, is not an evidence of belonging to one of Gentes Patrizie, that have been existing for years on the national territory and attributable to other Romans-Italics associations to be found on our territory.

The activities put the principles of the associations into actions and different instruments: on the one hand, the ritual celebration, community and private holiday og the Gentile calendar, the practice of philosophy. On the other hand opportunities for the development of a debate on cultural issues inherent Gentile spirituality and effort to study and implement initiatives that combine promoting Gentilitas with innovative forms of cultural enjoyment (educational workshops, guided tours, projects, meetings and events, oriented a knowledge of the cultural and religious heritage more widespread and conscious). The association also addressed much importance to activities beneficial and fundraising in order to make its contribution to the better functioning of modern society.

There are no political aims.
